Houston Livestock & Rodeo

On Sunday, Christina and I grabbed our two oldest girls and told them we had plans. As soon as they got into the car, they had ideas of where we were going but about 15 minutes into the drive, all we heard was - "ARE WE THERE YET???" Well - as soon as we got the car parked and walked the 2 miles down the road (for them it might as well have been 200 miles), they realized we were at the Rodeo. But they thought we were there just for the rodeo. Once we got inside though, the lady pointing us to our seats asked Madison and Skyler if they were excited to see Selena Gomez. Well - both the girls' eyes got so big and they just looked at us like the lady was speaking out of her nose. They were so excited to be seeing Selena Gomez in concert. To top it off, it was Skyler's very first rodeo as well as very first concert. It was a great time. The girls loved it and we let them ride a couple of rides afterward even though it was freezing outside and Christina had to let Madison wear her jacket because I'm a terrible mother and ran off with hers.
